Economic Development Momentum Continues in 2009

Earlier today, Neil Everson, Director of the City of Hamilton’s Economic Development and Real Estate Division presented the department’s Annual Report to City Council.

    West Harbour is the obvious place for the stadium and it is an ecologically sound decision. Brownfields will be cleaned up and visitors will see our beautiful harbour and city. Downtown economy will get a boost. Plus it will be a community friendly based decision.

    East Mountain stadium will destroy yet another piece of open land. It seems to us this is a manipulation by developers and is based on power and greed.
